Thank you, thank you, thank you for joining Team TJ! We’ve assembled a few things that will help your fundraising efforts and enable you to best enjoy your ride on May 18th. Information is provided below in 3 sections: 1. Getting Started – Information
to get riders registered for Team TJ sign-up on the Ride
for Research website. 1. Getting Started – Sign up on the Ride for Research website: To begin raising money use this link to connect to the Ride for Research site . There will be a link to “Join TeamTJ”. Click on this and sign up. Be sure to sign up as part of the Team TJ team and not as just an individual rider. When you are setting up your personal page you will have the option to download a picture: Please consider using the attached picture for your site (just right click the following link and “save as” to your desktop.) TJ image Then use the upload button while setting up your personal page to load it. We’d recommend using the “Single Photo/Status block inset” format since it keeps the photo at the top of the page. Please email or call John or Liz if you’d like us to walk you through this process. 2. For your Fundraising Communication: Attached are two versions of
a Word document that you can either use to print out or cut and paste
into an email. Use it however you' d
like. We
do think the picture is helpful since it makes a connection between
the reader
and TJ. If you have any questions please call or email John
and Liz and we' d be glad to help. For those still not sure if they want to ride, please call Liz or John, or email John at john@teamtj.org and they can give you additional information. The ride is very doable and people of all ages can accomplish it with little to no training (for the shorter routes). The fundraising minimum is $500 and John and Liz would be happy to help fund your required donation amount if you are not sure you can raise this amount. Children 9-13 are required to raise $100. 3.
